Tigerwave by Heinz blends a sprawling tiger with Hardy-esk finger waves into one clean tattoo composition. The tiger has been carried from flash into larger Japanese-inspired work. Here, the animal and the water are treated as the same form, with foam, current, and claw movement folded into a single silhouette.

Nearly the whole figure is built from wave motifs, which gives the piece a cool, graphic character while the open mouth and stretched body keep it aggressive. Heinz uses crisp outlines, light shading, and a restrained blue palette that reads a little like old flash reworked as a contemporary print.
