Senju

Senju, born in 1968 in Stockholm, developed a passion for art early in life, influenced by his
upbringing and artist grandfather. As a teenager, he was deeply involved in the punk scene, which
shaped his independent mindset and creative drive. He became a professional tattoo artist in the
early 1990s, evolving his style through travel and collaboration. Around 2000, after experiencing
burnout, he discovered Japanese culture, Zen Buddhism, and Kendo, which led him to fully
dedicate himself to traditional Japanese tattooing. Since then, he has devoted his life to exploring
and expressing Japanese art and culture through his work.
